Through its Foreign Trade and Investment Institute (IPEX), the Regional Government of Castilla-La Mancha is supporting attendance by companies from the region in the construction sector to the show being held this week from 15 to 19 May at the Algiers International Conference Centre.
Batimatec is the largest construction and public works show in Algeria and a meeting point for all stakeholders in the sector. All aspects of building construction, construction materials and public works are represented at the event.
A total of 750 exhibitors will gather for Batimatec 2022, including 500 from Algeria and 250 from 15 other countries. Italy is the overseas country with the largest number of companies attending the show (a total of 80 exhibitors), followed by Turkey (65 companies). Tunisia, France and Spain are among the other strongly represented countries, with an average of 20 companies each.
Inside the Spanish pavilion, Castilla-La Mancha is represented by three companies that are exhibiting the construction sector products they manufacture, such as: porcelain tiles, ventilated façades, porcelain stoneware and clinker products; pipes and accessories for the water and sanitation sector; equipment and machinery for the ceramic industry, flooring manufacture, terrazzo tiles.
The IPEX has supported this show on more than ten occasions by offering companies from the region with business and interests in the Algerian market its ongoing support for promoting their products and services via this event.
